Every summer, students lose ground. The research is clear — and the cost of waiting is real.

2–3 months

— NWEA/MAP Growth, 2020

By 5th grade

summer slide accounts for two-thirds of the achievement gap

— Alexander et al., Johns Hopkins

66%

of parents wait until June to think about summer learning

— National Summer Learning Assoc.

Families Love EES

Real results from real families. Here's what parents are saying.

"When we started in January, my daughter was reading below grade level — her teacher said she was a full year behind. After three months with EES, she jumped two reading levels and now picks up chapter books on her own. The small group kept her engaged in a way one-on-one never did."

"We enrolled during afterschool and I was nervous about the summer transition. Turns out there was nothing to worry about — same teacher, same group, same Zoom link. My son didn't even realize it was 'summer school.' He just kept going."

"The weekly progress reports are what sold me. I can see exactly which phonics patterns he's mastering and where he still needs work. His classroom teacher noticed the improvement within six weeks and asked what we were doing differently."
